Daily Guided Breathing Practice
In today’s fast-paced world, it’s easy to lose our breath — physically, emotionally, and spiritually. The Daily Guided Breathing Practice is a space for you to slow down, center yourself, and reconnect with the breath of life that God gives.
Here, you are invited to:
- Pause — Be still and become present to God’s presence
- Release — Let go of stress, fear, and inner noise
- Rise — Receive fresh peace, strength, and freedom
You can practice this anytime — morning, midday, or evening — at home, at work, in your car, or even in nature.
Wherever you are, you can BREATHE.
How to Begin
Find a quiet, comfortable space.
Sit or stand with your feet grounded.
Close your eyes or soften your gaze.
Begin to notice your breath — no forcing, no striving.
Guided Breathing Practice
Step 1: Center — “Be Still”
Scripture Reflection:
“Be still and know that I am God.” — Psalm 46:10
Take 3 slow, deep breaths.
On each inhale, think: “Be still.”
On each exhale, think: “And know.”
Step 2: Release — “Let Go”
Breath Prayer:
“Lord, I release...”
Take 5 gentle breaths.
On each exhale, silently release any stress, fear, or heaviness to God.
Breathe out what no longer serves you.
Step 3: Rise — “Receive”
Breath Meditation:
“I receive peace. I receive life.”
Breathe in through your nose — deep, slow, and full.
Exhale slowly through your mouth.
Repeat for 3–5 cycles, receiving God’s breath of life.
